My sisters and I are designing some clothes in african print for an online boutique that we hope to open in the future. I wore one of our skirts here. She wore this one to work today.

Wedding To Do Lists

Wedding Planning has been going great. I've sort of slowed down with the planning because I think that I've got many of my things booked. Granted that the knot says  I should be doing a lot more than this, I think I feel comfortable with where I am. To do lists have a tendency to make me soo nervous though.

Number one on the list is finalizing the menu for the reception and the cocktail hour. I'm thinking that we are probably only going to have 2 options for the menu: chicken and salmon...and then a veggie option. 

I've been trying to gather some ideas of what I'd like to do for makeup so that I can show my makeup artist next week. What do you guys think??

Honeymoon: Fiance and I are going to Nice, then to Corsica, then somewhere in Italy I believe. I have to finalize that with him since he is picking the locations. I also have to figure out what we are doing when we get to the locations, but I am too excited! 

Candy Bar: Not on the to do list, but I've been trying to figure out what types of candies that people actually like. I know that I am getting M&Ms plain and with nuts (custom ordering in purple), gumballs, rock candy, my sister insists on cotton candy...anything else that you guys would love to see in a candy bar? I'm not ordering them till over the summer, but since I am trying to keep the colors in shades of purple and silver I need to figure it out now.

I was super excited to receive this top in the mail from Pixics, an online store selling vintage/retro/indie apparel....all of the type of things that I love. This top was very well made and I immediately wanted to pair it with some bright colors, hence look 2. The top seems to be currently out of stock (hopefully they get some in very soon so you guys can score it), but they have some other cute items that I love: City Slicker Blazer, Eat My Dust Satchel, or this Swallow Tail Romper for only $14.99! Such a great deal for the warm weather upon us.

Such an adorable top right? It has such a romantic feel to it.

Its the weekend!!! So excited because I have absolutely nothing planned...well wedding stuff (i need to give you guys an update on that too btw). I wanted to share my recent purchases, mostly jewelry, with you guys.

I was soo excited when I found the forever 21 necklace because I haven't really purchased anything from forever 21 (in one of those moods where everything has just been eh). When I saw this necklace, I knew I had to have it to dress up a simple tank.

 The colors here are fabulous!!

I also purchased these shoes from DSW. They are almost sold out online.

Did a DIY earlier that I found off of a blog. It doesn't exactly look like the Anthropologie one, but I LOVE it!

Hey Guys, quick post here. I've been soo excited lately about packing up my winter clothes and pulling out my sandals. It has been consistently over 80 degrees this week. I purchased these wedges last summer on my birthday and have only worn them once. Definitely hoping to get more use out of them this summer/spring.

Happy Monday Everyone! Just a rainy, dark Monday here, but I hope that your weekends were wonderful. Just wanted to share with you guys a few pictures from the weekend.

The Red Velvet Cake Pops me and a bridesmaid made this weekend and preparation for my wedding in a few months. We encountered a few blunders (for one, we couldn't get them to stay rounded), but hopefully we'll test them a few times before August some we can have the end result below. They were delish btw...

these Badgley Mishcka pumps that I may be wearing for my wedding. I can't find purple wedding shoes (that don't have a huge bow on top of them) in my size ANYWHERE. If I don't find anything anytime soon, I will be wearing these (unless they sell out in my size too). Any suggestions guys?
