I was recently contacted by the SugarLips apparel about reviewing one of their items. After reading up on the company and seeing all of their super cute clothes, my eyes caught this one skirt which I am wearing in todays outfit. When I received the skirt I was very excepted. The colors are so pretty and the garment is very nicely made. I quickly styled it up and couldn't be any happier with it. Since the skirt was already busy, I paired it with a plain off white tank and a chunky knit to keep myself warm. Sorry for the disappearing act guys. Been super busy with wedding planning, work, and my sister and I are trying to start an online boutique. Which will actually carry stuff like the skirt above and the bag at the very bottom. We're actually going to start selling the bags pretty soon as we're trying to get different sizes set for the clothes. Too excited! It was super warm outside today hence the lack of tights. So excited for warmer weather. Happy Thursday!!

Wedding Shoes I Love

Wedding Dress Fittings won't be happening for quite a few months as my dress won't come in till June, but I can't help but to already be looking for the perfect shoes. A few are wayy out of my price range for wedding shoes, but I'm thinking about cutting back somewhere else in my budget and getting ones I am in love with. I definitely know that I will be changing into flats sometime during the evening (Ceremony is at 4 and Cocktail hour starts at 6 with the Reception to end at midnight) so I need to look into some more flats also.

Aren't they all soo cute!!! I really want to wear purple shoes so I'm keeping my eyes opened. Anyone else have a hard time finding wedding shoes? Was comfort an issue? I am soo afraid that I won't find anything that I like which will also be comfortable.

Happy Valentines Day Guys!! I haven't really ever been a HUGE fan of Valentines Day, single or not single, and I still am not. Fiance, however, loves Valentines Day so over the years, he has gotten me into the spirit. It's not necessarily the cards, gifts and candy for me, but more so just the continued love for my family, friends, and for all of you guys. Make sure you tell someone that you love them today because that is what today is all about. I am thankful to have people I care about in my life and you should be also.

There is something that I really love about boots with a dress. Not sure what it is, but there is just something. I got this tweed blazer from Nordstrom last winter and I get soo much wear out of it. I own all of 2 tweed items (this jacket and maybe a skirt) lol. The weather has lovely this past week, but right now it is 30 degrees outside and I am not sure that I care to leave the house today. I think that I will be using today to schedule some blog posts for next week and doing some wedding pinning on Pinterest.

It's The Little Things

I am slowly seeing that wedding planning can definitely get as stressful as many people may say it gets. It's not even the big things that stress, like finding a venue, photographer,  or THE dress. It is definitely the little things that pile up and keep you awake at night. No, I'm not losing sleep over it..yet, but oh man. It has been fun so far though. I booked a photobooth which will be so much fun and I decided that we will have a candy bar also. 

 What are your favorite candies btw? I have no idea what selections to have. Any candies that come in purples?

 It would also be cute if we could do cake pops.

 Definitely waiting to hit up old navy's $1 flip flop sale to do this. Or do you guys have any suggestions of a place to buy cheap flip flops?

Jason Wu for Target Release

So after waiting for Jason Wu for Target turned into a FAIL, mainly because I fell asleep shortly after midnight EST, I knew I'd have to wake up earlier for church this morning and run to my nearest Target. After looking at the racks around 8:30am, I assumed that either my Target forgot to put some of the items out or 8:30 just wasn't early enough. Still not sure what the answer to that question is, but after stalking the packed dressing rooms for a few minutes, I at least left with 3 of the items I wanted. It kind of sucks that all of the dresses that I wanted weren't there when I got there, but what can I say? Here is what I was able to get...

Hello February Wishes!

With new months seem to bring new wishes and goals for me. I hope that you guys are ready for awesome things to happen this month. I feel it in my bones, lol. Here's what I will be aiming for this month (wedding related and none wedding related): 

1. More saving, less shopping. I told myself that I will not be buying any apparel this month, but instead I plan on putting the money aside to buy aMAZing bridesmaid gifts (I have EIGHT of them to buy. I know that is a lot lol, but I've seen worse). 

2. Score everything on my wishlist from Jason Wu for Target. Okay, so this kind of conflicts with number 1 lol, but it will be the only shopping I do this month I promise. (Who is not waiting for this collection?)

3. Have ALL my wedding vendors booked by the end of the month. 

4. Have the bridesmaids and groomsmen attire confirmed by the end of the month.

5. More regular blog posting. Not sure how those of you who work do it, but I want to start posting more regularly.

6. Keep up with my meal planning and continue to keep my life on its schedule. I never use to be a person who literally had each day scheduled out, but guys, this works wonders for time management.
7. More DIYs

I just realized that you guys never see me in my eyeglasses.

Hate that I had to use flash..there was no sunlight all day. I love this bag though.
