Honeymoon Ideas

Fiance and I are trying to figure out where we should go for our honeymoon. My dream honeymoon is to go to Bora Bora, but that'll definitely cost a pretty penny because Delta doesnt fly directly to Bora Bora (Fiance works for Delta so I normally fly to places for pretty cheap) an even if they did, the hotel packages are really pricey. Isn't it gorgeous though?

Second option is to visit Italy since we've never been there either. I'm thinking either Venice, Rome, or Florence...maybe even multiple locations? I've always wanted to ride a gondola or see Michelangelo's David in person among many other things like food. The plus is that we won't really have to worry about airfare so we can splurge on the hotel.

Our 3rd option is to visit France again. Fiance has been to Paris multiple times and my first visit was back in May of 2010. We were thinking of going to Paris because I felt like my trip there was rushed. We could also visit Nice, which has been on Fiance's bucket list for a while now. My pictures from Paris:

Fourth, I am thinking about Maui or Kauai. Granted that we were recently in Hawaii back in October, it'd be nice to visit a different island (we visited Oahu).

Any other ideas as to great honeymoon spots? Where did you go for your honeymoon? I'm also thinking about Madrid, fiance suggested Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic also.

Nude Love

I have always found neutrals very fashionable and think that there should be nudes in everyone's weardrobe. Nude is a very elegant and versatile color. I think that these pieces are all gorgeous especially paired with browns or blacks.

P.S. Thank you guys for all of your continued support!! It is greatly appreciated! I smell a giveaway coming soon! :)

New Steve Maddens Make Happy Feet

Wearing: Forever 21 sweater, random asymmetrical skirt, LC Lauren Conrad blazer, Steve Madden heels

Hey Guys! Hope that your week was great. I've been super busy with wedding planning. It's actually coming along pretty nicely so far so I am really excited. I had to squeeze at least one outfit post in this week. You guys have seen this skirt before here back in November. I also scooped up these cute Steve Maddens about 2 weeks ago for $24.99 here. They have a few sizes left in purple and it comes in 3 different colors. Any awesome plans for the weekend? Mine plans all involve wedding stuff and blog reading.

'That New New'

I just wanted to take a few seconds to share my most recent scores with you guys. I got this awesome pleated dress from 2020ave.com. I actually wanted it in red also, but they've been sold out of my size. It was under 30 bucks and I am soo excited about this purchase. I'll probably style it next week. It's been so wet outside and I've been so busy that I haven't had time to photograph anything this week yet.

Can't Help But To Look The Other Way

H&M top
skirt from Nordstrom
Report wedged booties
House of Harlow 1960 ring

Today was a terribly rainy day so I literally spent the whole day in bed doing wedding stuff. This is one of my outfits from earlier this week. I kept a black blazer on it to wear to work and I really hate that I was too tired to go back out snap a photo with it. Oh well.

Dream To Touch The Sky

H&M top
Green skirt from Nordstrom
MIA booties
headband from Forever21

I really wish that spring would hurry up and avail itself. I'm pretty much itching to wear as many bright colors as I can. I guess I shouldn't complain because I can still get away every few days with outfits like this with a light jacket

Wedding update: I won't be posting a picture of my dress or fear of fiance randomly deciding to read today's post lol, but my dress is one of these lovelies. Rivini Fall 2012 Collection. Anyone know of any places besides David's Bridal that does bridesmaid dresses? I have a bridesmaid in Hawaii and in Arizona and wanted something that was national so they won't have to worry about flying here to get fitted...any ideas? David's Bridal seems to be my only option.

Missoni Inspired

chevron striped skirt
top from TJMaxx - $12.99 on clearance
boots from Kohls

Can't get enough of Missoni inspired prints. Apparently I haven't been able to get enough of TJMaxx lately too. I just realized that my last 4 or 5 purchases are from there (quite a few button ups).  You can never have too many button ups right? Guess what guys!!! I said yes to the dress! literally! Got to meet Lori and the gang and was assisted by the sweetest consultant ever, Melissa. I found the most gorgeous Rivini dress from Rivini's Fall/Winter 2012 collection. I don't want to show anyone pictures of me in the actual dress, but I will post a runway picture of the dress as soon as I find one online. Apparently the collection isn't actually being released until May or June, so I definitely will not be fitted in it till the summer, but I am soo excited to be one of the first few brides to be wearing it in her wedding.

Purple Monday!!

purple button up ($9)
H&M skinnies ($15)
Dolce Vita pumps (gift from mom)
clutch from TJMaxx ($14.99)
bow brooch
Happy Monday Guys!! I know I told you guys earlier that I would be going wedding dress shopping soon and TODAY is the day! Woohoo! I hope to be able to say Yes To A Dress at my appoint later on today. I'll definitely let you guys know if I find one and what I pick probably on twitter. I went for all purple in todays outfit. I picked up this purple button up on sale from Burlington Coat Factory for $9 and couldnt wait to wear it. I didn't want to wear that much jewelry, so instead I decided to pin this bow brooch that I pulled off my Lauren Conrad for Kohls blazer. I thought the bow went wonderfully with the cute bows on my pumps.

10 days, 10 delights

[Malaya in Atlanta. My favorite Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian
restaurant all rolled up into one. General Tso Chicken]
We're only 10 days into 2012 and I've already managed to do soo many things that I enjoy as well as try some new things. The crazy weather is keeping me constantly sick, but I manage to enjoy the random bouts of 70 degree like weather that manages to find its way in every week. I'm trying to do a lot more cooking this year also and was able to enjoy a few recipes of my own. I have a project due in 2 days and am no where near completion so I hope that you guys enjoy my selection of pictures. Hope to squeeze an outfit post out sometime this week. Thanks for all of the tags I received in the past few days. I'm going to try to respond to all of them.

Wall of Color

Wearing: Forever 21 skirt (also seen here), sweater from H&M,
House of Harlow ring, combat boots, Charming Charlie earrings

Guess what guys! I will be going Wedding dress shopping soon. I'm not exactly sure what I will be looking for (though I really like the fit and flare styles), but I am soo excited to be visiting Bridals by Lori. I've been watching episodes of Say Yes To The Dress all evening long and I hope that my experience is as wonderful as some of these brides. Woohoo!
I am soo bored with the same old background for my photos but fiance hasn't been able to take pictures for me in the past few days so I settled for a blue background indoors (hence the bright background lol). I've worn this skirt before over the past summer, but I'm loving it so much more with tights. Happy Friday .:Smooches:.

Wearing: H&M top, skinnies from Kohls, Converse shoes, sweater

My family was pretty surprised when I asked for a pair of Converse's for Christmas. I own only own pair of tennis shoes, well two if you count my Coach shoes; only because I wear sneakers to the gym and thats about all. I am really excited about being able to do my casual outfits in these. I really want to try pairing them with leather next. I would love a pair of these in white also.
Had the opportunity to meet fellow blog, Kia from CakedCulture at a Margarita party over the holidays. It was such a pleasure to meet her and soo unexpected. It was also kind of weird because it is the first time I've actually met a fellow blogger in person and just seeing her not on the blog was really cool. Check out her blog!
