Wedding planning can go one of two ways: either very stressful or very enjoyable. Lucky for me, I have many supportive friends who are helping make planning fun. Last Saturday was pretty successful in that we managed to put together all 130 wedding invitations, 22 wine bottle table numbers and place labels on 240 candy bar bags. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but it actually took many hours with 8 of my closest friends.
These are the candy bar bags that I will be using for my candy bar. I made the labels using photoshop and printed them via Vistaprint.
To make the wine bottle table numbers, I had to start collecting 22 wine bottles overtime.
We took a regular wine bottle such as this one. The labels were just too hard to remove so we took some black spray paint in flat and painted 22 bottles (1 for each table). Using primer made no difference so we didn't bother after bottle number 2.
This is what each bottle looked like after a few coats of paint.
Final product! I made the labels with photoshop, printed them on my hp printer and they turned out even better than I hoped.
What do you guys think?
No I didn't make this cake but I saw it in a bakery store window in Arizona and fell in love with it. How gorgeous is this?
I don't want to show you guys my invitations just yet since I still want to add some finishing touches to them, but keeping looking out for them because I will post them eventually.
