The Script Concert

Last night some friends and I got to see Irish Band The Script. The concert was absolutely awesome. It was probably one of the best concerts that I had ever attended. The venue wasn't extremely huge so I'm sure that even those who were in the back had a really good view of the band. The vocals were on point and all three bandmates were very personable. The lead singer Danny O'Donoghue came into the crowd a few times giving people hugs and high fives. They were full of energy and all over the place. Loved it! Before the concert ended, the drummer, Mark Sheehan took a picture of the crowd for his twitter. SO cool! I'm so short, I could only figure out the vicinity of where I was..lol

Anyway....this is what I wore..

Old Boots, New Blazer

These boots are like 8 years old and still holding up. I thought they looked nice with my new brown blazer. There's a skirt under there somewhere I think..lol...I need to find some longer white tops.

Lace Ups

Combat boots in all heights and colors are really popular right now. I have even seen a person wearing boots with a lace pattern and another with a floral pattern. I have been looking for a pair in stores and would rather keep it simple with all black. I have yet to find the perfect ones so I am turning to online shops for some. I don't normally like to buy shoes online because the fit on me normally varies from 6.5-7.5 but I can't really find some in stores. I really want some flat ones...what do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?? Comments are always appreciated

Yesstyle.com Haul

I made a small purchase about 11 days ago from Yesstyle.com. I was not really sure what the quality would be like or how long it would take to ship because it was coming from Hong Kong, but I decided to gamble anyway. This is what I purchased...

On me..

The quality of the harem pants is extremely good surprisingly enough, being that they were under $20. I would say that the quality of the top was just okay...kind of like Forever 21 quality.  One negative to yesstyle is that a lot of their items are one size so you have to pay very good attention to the measurements. Thankfully enough both items fit me perfectly. I previously read some reviews regarding garment quality and customs which made me nervous so i only ordered 2 things; but I had no problems and would honestly order from them again.

[Yesstyle did NOT sponsor this review.]
Dont forget to follow my blog through google or bloglovin on the right...thanks guys!

Im going to be posting some more of my DIY projects soon...Dont forget to follow my blog through google or bloglovin on the right...thanks guys!

Singing in the Rain

Actually, it literally stopped pouring when I stepped outside but it is still so nasty out. I dislike having to leave the house in the rain. I love the rain but would much rather be listening to the rain drops as I lounge in my bed. But below is what I decided to wear today. I actually love this faux leather moto jacket I purchased from the LC Lauren Conrad collection months back.

Foodie Mecca

Today was such an awesome day for me because it was my first time going to Taste of Atlanta. Taste of Atlanta is a 2-day outdoor food and wine festival that showcases Atlanta's food scene and attracts foodies from everywhere. There were about 80 vendors there including some of my favorite restaurants. Taste of Atlanta is in its 9th year and there was food and cooking demonstrations everywhere..Awesomeness!!! I got to try out soo many things from Shrimp and Paella to Rosemary Ice cream. I will probably not be hungry till later on tomorrow evening..lol.

Mixing prints

Mixing prints is soo in right now. Although at first I was terrified of trying it, it is a very quick way of putting together a pretty fashionable outfit...if done in the right way of course. One MUST that I think makes mixing prints work is having at least one color in both patterns somewhat match. Mixing prints also works when combining a piece with small designs with a piece with large designs. Below are some pieces that I would love to try. I really like some of the looks that Whitney Port has done...

Polka dot skirt from ASOS ~ $84.25

Sparkle & Fade Abstract Printed Skirt ~ $54

Forever 21 Fab Stripe Waterfall Cardigan ~$14.50

  Leopard Print Angora Tunic ~27.80

If all else fails, animal print seems to go with almost anything. You could also stick to neutral colors like black and white prints and then throw on a cardigan or belt in a color that pops out!
